Youth Services

Local youth programs are funded through the West Kentucky Workforce Board (WKWB):  to (1) provide an objective assessment of each eligible youth participant; (2) develop an individual service strategy for each eligible youth; (3) raise basic skills and skill gains; (4) provide preparation for post-secondary educational opportunities, linkages between academic and occupational learning, preparation for employment, and helps provide connections to intermediary organizations that provide strong links to the job market and employers; and (5) help them obtain employment.
