WKWB Seeking Executive Director

The West Kentucky Workforce Board is challenged to identify a new Executive Director with the retirement of its current long-time director.  The WKWB oversees workforce activities and supports business needs in the 17 western-most counties comprising the Purchase and Pennyrile areas.  The position works to serve the needs of business and to maintain U.S. Department of Labor workforce programs, required performance outcomes and planning opportunities.  

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of workforce management experience relating to staff management, financial management and/or workforce program management with preference to experience in all these areas.  The ideal candidate would have a master’s degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience.
